Diagnostic Interview

Our work begins with a diagnostic interview focused on identifying the symptoms you experience and how they manifest in your day-to-day activities. We’ll talk about areas such as attention, organization, time management, initiative, relationships, work, and general responsibilities. We will also explore the presence of symptoms throughout your youth.  If ADHD is diagnosed, we will have an in-depth discussion about treatment options.

Medication

Medication management is one component of that treatment planning conversation. Many people have reservations about — or are hesitant to pursue — medication for ADHD due to the controversial nature of stimulants. I strive to provide clear, balanced information based on both research and my 18 years of experience working with individuals with ADHD. My goal is to help you make informed decisions about what feels right for you.

Treatment Planning

At the end of the assessment, I will share my recommendations, provide helpful resources and referrals when appropriate, and work with you to develop a plan that addresses your specific challenges and goals. While there are many common ADHD experiences, every person is unique. Your treatment plan should reflect your strengths, preferences, learning style, and the life you want to create for yourself.
